I bring over 20 years of experience in HR, Employment Law, and Compliance, supporting Irish SMEs across a wide range of sectors. My focus is on helping businesses put clear, practical systems in place to manage their people and stay compliant with confidence.

My background includes legal practice, HR management, and business ownership, allowing me to bridge the gap between what the law requires and what works in real-world business environments. Today, I support Pelmaro clients by helping them implement structured HR systems, reduce risk, and manage their teams effectively.

Joanne has over 20 years of senior experience across HR, Employment Law, and Compliance, supporting Irish SMEs in building clear, legally sound, and practical people management systems.

She is a non-practising Solicitor and previously ran her own legal practice from 2004 to 2016, gaining first-hand experience in managing legal risk, advising clients, and operating within demanding business environments.

Joanne’s work focuses on translating complex Irish employment legislation into clear, structured processes that business owners and managers can confidently implement. Her approach is practical, commercially focused, and tailored to the realities of running a business.

Her experience includes developing contracts, policies, employee handbooks, disciplinary procedures, and HR documentation in line with Irish legislation, as well as supporting employee relations and workplace compliance processes.
