Bill brings over 40 years of practical industry experience across food service, compliance, operations and staff training. He supports Irish businesses with tailored Food Safety and Health & Safety systems, practical training, and clear compliance support that works in the real world.
I bring over 40 years of hands-on experience across food safety, health and safety, and workplace training, working with businesses across hospitality, healthcare, education, and public sector environments in Ireland and the UK.
My background includes managing large-scale catering operations, developing tailored compliance systems, and training teams to meet legislative standards with confidence. Today, I support Pelmaro clients by helping them implement practical systems that improve standards and make compliance easier day to day.
Bill has over 40 years of hands-on experience across catering, compliance, facilities management, workplace safety, and staff training.
He began his career in catering and spent 16 years working across hotels, schools, hospitals, and nursing homes before progressing into leadership roles with responsibility for large-scale operations, compliance systems, and team development.
His experience includes overseeing catering services for 34 schools, five nursing homes, Meals on Wheels provision, and a 330-bed hospital. He has also managed a third-level education catering facility serving up to 5,000 people per day and worked as Catering Manager and Executive Chef across multiple nursing homes.
As his career developed, Bill moved into facilities and operational management, covering areas such as kitchen design, supplier coordination, maintenance, security, fire safety, and the implementation of Safety, Health and Welfare at Work standards.
At Pelmaro, Bill supports businesses through audits, risk assessments, training, and the development of tailored Food Safety and Health & Safety systems that help organisations stay compliant and operate with confidence.
